Set up API connection

The API connects Feedback Analytics to other systems (your apps, Zapier, etc.). Create an API key under API Connection and store it securely.

What you will see

If available, API Connection in the menu manages API keys.

Create new keys and view or revoke existing ones. Use the key in Authorization header or API parameters.

The key may be shown only once at creation—store it safely.

How to set it up

1. Confirm API Connection is available for your plan.

2. Go to API Connection and create a new API key (name it for the system, e.g. Zapier).

3. Copy and store the key securely. Use it per API docs in your integration.

4. Revoke old keys and create new ones if leaked or rotating systems.

Tips

Never put API keys in frontend code or public repos; use backend or secure environments only.

Common issues

API Connection not visible: not all workspaces have API access—check plan or contact support.

401 Unauthorized: verify the key is sent correctly and not revoked.
